Contour diapers are between a flat and fitted diaper. There are a variety of styles with different types of fasteners – Velcro, snaps, or even pinning. Laying the contour diapers flat they look like disposable diapers. They resemble an oversize jockey brief when they are worn. Most people say they are comfortable and easy to take off and on. Most contours have elastic legs and waist and are easy to change when soiled.
The Contour diaper also varies in composition. Some have multiple layers of flannel while some will have a soaker center made of extra layers of cotton, polyester, or terrycloth. The thicker layers are for longer wear or heavier incontinence while the thinner layered contours are for light incontinence or shorter time of use.
